General information, not personal advice
Everything published on cadialogue.in — news reports, analysis, explainers, opinion columns, calculators and data tools — is general information about Indian finance. It is written for a broad readership and cannot take account of your income, your tax position, your existing holdings, your obligations, your time horizon or your appetite for risk.
It is therefore not:
- individual investment advice or a personal recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security, scheme or asset;
- a personalised tax opinion, or advice on how a rule applies to your particular facts;
- accounting, audit or legal advice;
- an offer or solicitation to buy or sell anything;
- a substitute for a professional engagement with someone who has looked at your circumstances.
Before acting on anything you read here, speak to a qualified professional — a SEBI-registered investment adviser, a Chartered Accountant, or a lawyer, depending on the question.
Markets carry risk
The value of investments can fall as well as rise, and you can get back less than you put in. Past performance does not indicate future results. Mutual fund investments are subject to market risks; read all scheme-related documents carefully. Derivatives and leveraged products carry a risk of loss greater than the amount invested.
Market data on this site
The index, commodity, currency and cryptocurrency figures shown on CADialogue are sourced from third-party providers and are delayed and indicative. They are not real-time quotes, they are not an official price, and they are provided for general orientation only.
The market strip shows the time the figures were last refreshed, and tells you when a refresh has failed rather than leaving stale numbers looking current. Even so: do not trade on figures from this site. Use your broker, the exchange, or the issuer for an executable price.
Tax, GST and regulatory content
Indian tax and regulatory rules change frequently, sometimes with retrospective effect, and often differ by assessee category, state or financial year. An article is accurate as at its publication or update date, which is shown in its byline. It may have been overtaken since.
Where an article cites a circular, notification, gazette entry or filing, that document is linked under “Sources & references”. The original document governs, not our summary of it.
Accuracy
We take accuracy seriously and describe our sourcing and review standards in our Editorial Policy. We do not offer this disclaimer as cover for careless reporting: if something here is wrong, we want to know and we will correct it under our Corrections Policy.
That said, we cannot warrant that every figure on a site of this size is complete, current and error-free at every moment, and to the extent permitted by law we do not accept liability for loss arising from reliance on general information published here.
Editorial content and professional services are separate
If CADialogue or its operating entity also offers professional accounting, tax or advisory services, those services are provided under a separate written engagement, with its own scope, terms and fees, and with a professional who has examined your circumstances.
Reading this website does not create a client relationship, an adviser-client relationship, or any professional duty of care towards you. Sending us a message through the contact form does not create one either.
Third-party links and content
We link to regulators, exchanges, government portals and other publications. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their accuracy. A link is not an endorsement.
Advertising
Where advertising appears on CADialogue, the presence of an advertisement is not an endorsement of the advertiser, its products or its claims. Our commercial standards are set out in the Advertising Policy.
